asked the Minister of Labour whether he will take action to bring about a settlement of the three weeks' strike in the shipbuilding yards of Messrs. Hall, Russell and Company Limited, Aberdeen; and whether he will make a statement on the dispute.

I understand that as a result of informal discussions between the employers and union officials yesterday, arrangements were made to resume work this morning pending further negotiations.
