HC Deb 29 April 1959 vol 604 c141W
Mr. M. MacMillan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is aware of the need for an extension of the jetty at Bayble, Isle of Lewis, and more adequate provision of shelter for the local fishing boats; what representations he has had from Lewis District Council, Ross and Cromarty County Council, or other bodies or individuals; and what financial aid he is prepared to offer towards the cost of this work.

Mr. Maclay

I have received no representations from any source about the need to ex tend Bayble jetty.
