HC Deb 29 April 1959 vol 604 c141W
Mr. M. MacMillan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the sewerage schemes now being undertaken in each of the islands of the Outer Hebrides, and the estimated cost, area, and population to be served by each scheme.

Mr. Maclay

There are none at present. As I indicated on 18th December, the programme of sewerage work submitted by Inverness County Council and approved in principle includes two small schemes in the Outer Hebrides which are not expected to start for some time yet.
