(2) if he will urge local authorities with hutted camps in their areas occupied by civilian families to provide other suitable accommodation for them and clear the camps.
§ Mr. H. BrookeI am continually urging local authorities to provide alternative accommodation for families living in hutted camps; I am furnishing the hon. Member with copies of circulars which have been sent to them. Both the number of camps still in civilian occupation and the number of persons living in them are steadily diminishing.
