asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he has considered the communication from the hon. Member for West Ham, North, together with the letter from a resident making charges and allegations against landlords and their agents taking oppressive action against their tenants; and whether he will make a statement.

The hon. Member sent me without comment an unsigned allegation that tenants of an unnamed block of flats had been given notice to quit. It is hard to make any statement on such indistinct material.
