§ Mr. Iain MacleodAt 15th July there were 2,680 persons registered as unemployed at the Edinburgh Employment Exchange and Youth Employment Office, compared with 2,260 at 16th July, 1956. The number of vacancies notified to those offices and remaining unfilled at 10th July was 2,803 compared with 2,701 at 25th July, 1956.
