Mr. AmoryThe chairmen of the disciplinary committees of agricultural marketing boards are independent persons, as required by the Agricultural Marketing Act, 1949, with legal qualifications and approved by the Minister. I would not agree that their independence is affected by the fact that their fees are paid by the board.
