§ Sir A. Bossomasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is aware that the treatment, immediately before slaughter, of livestock, whose carcases are imported into this country, does not always conform to the recommendations of the Working Party of experts set up by the Council of the Western European Union for the treatment of British cattle exported to the Continent; and if he will refuse to allow carcases to be imported from countries where stock are not so treated.
§ Mr. GodberNo. The treatment of non-British livestock in other countries is a matter of domestic policy for the Governments concerned.
