HC Deb 02 May 1956 vol 552 c39W
61. Mr. D. Jones

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies why he continues to refuse the request that the airport at Barbados should be made in a condition to enable all the long-distance aeroplanes of all nations on scheduled flights to call there to set down and pick up passengers.

Mr. Hare

My right hon. Friend has not refused any such request and the position is still as indicated in the Answer given to the hon. Member on 7th March.
