§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe Report of the Malta Round Table Conference stated that the question whether the Maltese Parliament should continue to be elected by proportional representation or should be elected in the same way as Members of this House was a matter for the Maltese themselves to decide. This is no doubt a point which the Maltese Government will wish to raise in the discussions of detail which must precede the drafting of the legislation to which my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister referred in his statement on 28th March.
