HC Deb 25 November 1954 vol 533 c170W
Lieut.-Colonel Bromley-Davenport

asked the Minister of Agriculture in view of the closer linking of his Department with the Ministry of Food, what steps are to be taken to review the present organisation of the various agricultural advisory services with a view to greater simplification and efficiency.

This matter will come within the scope of the review of provincial and local organisation which, as I announced on 29th October in reply to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Berwick and East Lothian (Major Anstruther-Gray), is to be conducted by a committee of independent persons under the chairmanship of Sir Arton Wilson, K.B.E., C.B.
