HC Deb 04 November 1954 vol 532 c81W
96. Mr. Wilkins

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works, as representing the Lord President of the Council, whether the Geological Survey has yet issued instructions for the resurveying of Bristol and its environs; and at what date he anticipates that an up-to-date one-inch to the mile scale map of this area will be available.

Mr. Bevins

The Geological Survey has already completed a survey of the Bristol district on a six-inch scale and is now preparing an up-to-date one-inch to the mile map. I cannot say when this will be ready, but anyone who wishes to do so may have access to the geological information at the offices of the Geological Survey.
