HC Deb 25 February 1954 vol 524 c46W
77. Dr. Stross

asked the Minister of Health if he will ensure that bread pro vided for hospitals shall contain an addition of fat-free milk solids to the flour normally used.

Miss Hornsby-Smith

As most hospitals buy their bread from commercial bakers, this would not be practicable, and as the patients can be provided with any necessary milk products in other ways it would also seem to be unnecessary.
