asked the Attorney-General whether, in view of the large number of road accidents which are caused by dogs, he will introduce legislation to place the responsibility for such accidents and for damage resulting there from upon the owners or persons in charge of the dogs concerned.

The Attorney-General: Theamendment of the law of civil liability for damage done by animals is under consideration. It is not proposed to deal separately with the liability of owners of dogs.
