HC Deb 10 February 1954 vol 523 c122W
42. Mr. Hector Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to make a statement on the present position of the peace talks in Korea, indicating upon what points agreement has and has not been reached.

Mr. Selwyn Lloyd

With regard to the present position I have nothing to add to my reply to the hon. and learned Member for West Ham, South (Mr. Elwyn Jones) on 8th February. The principal points still at issue are the voting procedure, the status of the Soviet Union as a participant in the conference and the identity and functions of neutral nations who should attend it.
