§ Mr. Powellasked the Minister of Education to which of the boarding special schools for delicate children, conducted by the London County Council, the criticisms of open-air schools, made 157W by the Chief Medical Officer of the Ministry of Health in his report for 1951, applied.
§ Miss HorsbrughAs I explained to the hon. Member for Dartford on 22nd January last, it would create a wrong impression to name particular schools now in view of the fact that, as explained in the report, the survey was made in 1949 and 1950. I understand that conditions in the schools to which my hon. Friend refers are now generally satisfactory, though in one or two cases certain improvements are at present under consideration.
