78. Mr. Storey

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will amend his letter of 1st May, 1953, to divisional road engineers, so that the consultation with the Forestry Commission therein enjoined shall be extended to include the owner of any wood adjoining a proposed lay-bye, irrespective of the size of such wood.

No. The existing arrangements were made at the request of the Forestry Commission and are considered to be satisfactory.
