HC Deb 15 December 1953 vol 522 cc32-3W
82. Mr. John MacLeod

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what approach has been made to him for planning permission to build a village of stone houses at Contin in Ross-shire.

Mr. J. Stuart

Informal discussions have taken place between representatives of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board and the county council and officers of my Department about the possibility of building a village of stone houses at Contin. I have not yet received any formal proposals.
