asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury why the Revenue Act, 1889, is not included in the index to Volume XI of the Statutes Revised nor in the index to the Statutes in Force.

The hon. Member is under a misapprehension. Seventeen Sections of this Act appear in the subject index at the end of Volume XI of the Statutes Revised and the Title of the Act in the chronological table at the beginning. The Act also appears in the Table of Statutes at the beginning of the Index to the Statutes in Force.
