HC Deb 29 April 1953 vol 514 c100W
47. Mr. Teeling

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General what steps he contemplates taking to improve the postal facilities in the Brighton area.

Mr. Gammans

The postal facilities in Brighton are similar to those in provincial towns generally. Additional facilities could not be provided without additional manpower and expenditure which could not be justified at the present time. I shall of course be happy to look into any cases of failure to provide the standard service if my hon. Friend will let me have details.
