§ Miss HorsbrughThe United Kingdom's contributions to the cost of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation for 1952 is 11.59 per cent. of the total budget of the Organisation. The scale of contributions is re-assessed from time to time in the light of the scale adopted by the United Nations.
U.N.E.S.C.O. contributes to the general welfare of all nations by promoting collaboration in education, science and culture, and the contribution of any one country cannot be related to specific services rendered to that country by the Organisation.
