HC Deb 27 November 1951 vol 494 cc128-9W
83. Mr. Crosland

asked the Minister of Works what action he has taken, or proposes to take, to ensure that the recommendations of the Report of the Monopolies Commission on the supply of cast iron rainwater goods are carried out by the industry concerned.

91. Mr. M. MacPherson

asked the Minister of Works what regulations he proposes to make in consequence of the Report of the Monopolies and Restrictive Practices Commission on rainwater goods.

Mr. Eccles

My Department has held discussions with representatives of the manufacturers and merchants concerned and has received an assurance that new trading arrangements to carry out the recommendations of the Monopolies and Restrictive Practices Commission will replace the present agreements. I should like to place on record my appreciation of their co-operation.
