asked the Minister of Health how many midwives trained in the use of analgesics there are in the county of Norfolk; and what gas and air machines are available for their use.

154 practising midwives, of whom 128 are in the domiciliary service, 121 gas and air machines are available in this service; the number in hospitals and nursing homes is not known.
