HC Deb 31 May 1951 vol 488 c47W
83. Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Minister of Health if, in view of the fact that 10,000 people suffering from tuberculosis are awaiting admission to hospital in Great Britain, he can arrange with the hospital authorities in Switzerland a considerable increase beyond the 130 beds so far promised for patients from the United Kingdom.

Mr. Marquand

I regret that this is not practicable.
