§ Mr. Llewellynasked the Minister of National Insurance whether she will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT or by other means a complete list of industry letters quoted on National Insurance cards, showing what each signifies, in order that each individual may ascertain whether his or her occupation is correctly described.
Mr. B. TaylorA booklet showing the code letters used for National Insurance and other official purposes is published (price 9d.) by His Majesty's Stationery Office, a copy of which is in the Library. Anyone wishing to know what industry is signified by the letters on his National Insurance card should inquire at a local office of the Ministry of National Insurance or an employment exchange.
