HC Deb 19 March 1951 vol 485 c217W
16. Mr. Low

asked the Minister of National Insurance why a gratuity of£34 8s. 6d. due to a former temporary officer in her Department in Blackpool whose service ended on 1st December, 1950, has not yet been paid.

Dr. Summerskill

Owing to the conditions of employment, this case for the award of a gratuity was a complicated one but the amount due has now been paid.
