asked the Minister of Food in how many cases he has ordered the withdrawal of permits or licences granted by his Department from persons convicted and punished for criminal offences.

Mr. Webb

Since 1942, Ministry of Food licences or permits have been withdrawn from 442 traders who, following, convictions in the courts, were regarded as unsuitable links in the distribution of controlled foods.
