§ 76. Mr. Healdasked the Minister of Transport whether, in the interest of road safety, he will take steps to ensure the maintenance on all major roads of an efficient system of cats-eye studs or similar devices, having regard to their outstanding value in dense fog.
§ Mr. BarnesI fully recognise the usefulness of reflecting studs as a guide to traffic at night and in fog, and I have recommended highway authorities to install them wherever it is appropriate and practicable to do so.
