asked His Majesty's Government what is me present establishment and strength of the Air Force Regiments, and how many recruits are at present joining them monthly.

LORD HENDERSON

The establishment of the R.A.F. Regiment is 5,858 officers and men. There is a small deficiency in strength at present. Recruitment averages 134 per month. The establishment of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Regiment squadrons is 96 officers and 2,256 men. The present strength is 39 officers and 543 men, and recruits are joining at the average rate of about 60 a month.
