§ Mr. Mitchisonasked the Minister of Pensions upon what grounds he has delayed the grant of constant attendance allowance to MI/85094 Mr. R. W. Mason, 74W 6, Legion Crescent, Rothwell Road, Kettering; and whether he will now authorise the grant of this allowance, for which application was made by letter dated 21st October, 1947.
§ Mr. BlenkinsopAn award of constant attendance allowance at the 20S. rate has now been authorised with retrospective effect and I am writing to the hon. and learned Member explaining the unfortunate set of circumstances which resulted in the regrettable delay in arriving at a decision.
