asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what steps His Majesty's Government are taking to implement the recommendations of the Select Committee on Estimates of last Session relating to Germany.

Mr. McNeil

These recommendations have been carefully examined and active steps have been taken to implement many of them. A White Paper will shortly be published embodying the Department's replies to the recommendations and describing in detail the action taken to implement them.
