HC Deb 09 February 1948 vol 447 c3W
26. Mr. Stokes

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether it was with his approval that persons detained at Neuengamme internment camp in Germany were told they are not permitted to write to Members of Parliament in this country.

Mr. McNeil

There is no ban on letters from internees at Neuengamme to Members of Parliament nor, I am informed, have the internees been told that such letters are forbidden.
