§ Mr. Pagetasked the Minister of National Insurance whether he is aware that the delay in deciding the appeal of Miss Alice Blakeman of 401, Kettering Road, Northampton, Reference O.A.P. 35574149, against the rejection on 30th September, 1947, of her claim for a contributory pension, is causing her hardship and injury to her health; and if he will take steps to expedite the hearing of this appeal.
§ Mr. SteeleI have made inquiries and find that the Referee allowed Miss Blakeman's appeal on 28th January. A pension order book and a payment in respect of the arrears of pension due, were issued on 29th January.
