HC Deb 02 February 1948 vol 446 cc244-5W
Mr. Dodds-Parker

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what arrangements have been made for continuity of co-ordination in marine fishery research and experimentation between the East and West African Colonies and the Union of South Africa.

Mr. Rees-Williams

No specific arrangements for co-ordination with the Union of South Africa have so far been made as fishery research and experimentation in East and West Africa is still only in the early stages of organisation, but arrangements for co-ordination certainly will be made when a more advanced stage is reached.
