HC Deb 17 November 1947 vol 444 c148W
136. Mr. S. Marshall

asked the Secretary of State for War what steps are being taken to prevent the wholesale pilfering of food parcels sent by parents and others in this country to relatives employed by the Control Commission in Germany.

Mr. M. Stewart

There is no evidence of wholesale pilfering of food parcels sent from this country to members of the Control Commission in Germany and all reasonable precautions are taken to prevent theft. If the hon. Member will give me details of any specific cases which he has in mind I will have them investigated.
