Lieut.-Colonel Kingsmillasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that the advertisements for recruits to the Palestine Police Force still state that the minimum age of recruitment is 18 whereas it has recently been raised to 19 years and six months; and what steps he is taking to publicise this alteration in the minimum age.
§ Mr. Rees-WilliamsThe new minimum age is mentioned in all Press advertisements placed since the change was made. Contracts for advertisement by posters, all of which were exhibited before the change, have now expired and are not being renewed.
