HC Deb 10 November 1947 vol 444 c20W
126. Mr. H. Hynd

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any British observers will be present at the pending trial of Polish Socialist leaders.

Mr. Mayhew

I assume that my hon. Friend is referring to the group of whom the principal member is M. Puzak. I have not heard that the trial of these Socialists is imminent, nor do I know whether it will be public when it is held. But my hon. Friend may be sure that its progress will be followed with close interest by His Majesty's Embassy in Warsaw.
