§ 102. Mr. Skinnardasked the Minister of Transport what powers his regulations give local authorities to fix "Keep Left" signs at road junction roundabouts before such junctions have been scheduled by his Department; and in what manner they provide during this period for the protection of the public where the instruction on such signs was disregarded.
§ Mr. CallaghanHighway authorities are authorised to erect a standard type of "Keep Left" signs at their discretion but the erection of larger signs requires special authority. My right hon. Friend is advised that to disregard a "Keep Left" sign is an offence.
