Mr. Charles Smithasked the Minister of Labour whether he will reconsider the decision given by his Department on the application, dated 25th October, 1946, of the Seaward Engineering Company for a permit for the employment of Mr. B. S. Heller, a toolmaker of Czech nationality, in view of the fact that this man has recently been demobilised in Palestine after three years in the British forces and that he wishes to join his parents in this country.
