HC Deb 27 February 1947 vol 433 c314W
52. Mr. Mellish

asked the Minister of Labour if employers in industry in which agreement has been reached with the trade unions concerned, and who have accommodation, can now be supplied with Polish labour.

Mr. Ness Edwards

Certainly, if no suitable and willing British labour is available. I hope that all employers who have employment and accommodation available will notify such vacancies at once to the employment exchange. Our local officers have already been instructed to this effect.
