HC Deb 20 February 1947 vol 433 c204W
102. Mrs. Paton

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power when the West Bridgford Urban District Council, Nottinghamshire, can expect to receive the decision of the Coal Board on their proposals for reinstating the sewer, laying a storm water system, making up the road and other precautions, in order to prevent further flooding of the houses in Roland Avenue, West Bridgford, due to subsidence from the working of Clifton Colliery, Nottinghamshire, for which he was, prior to 1st January, responsible; and, in view of the urgency of this problem, if he will expedite the decision.

Mr. Shinwell

I have forwarded my hon. Friend's inquiry to the National Coal Board who are now responsible for this matter.
