§ Mr. MayhewNineteen thousand and forty British personnel were employed by the Control Commission for Germany (British Element) on 29th November, 1947. Of these, 1,228 were employed in T-Force, 109 in the United Kingdom-United States Control Group (formerly North German Coal Control), 307 in North German Timber Control and 156 act as disposal agents for the Ministry of Supply.
