HC Deb 11 December 1947 vol 445 c221W
21. Mr. Dodds-Parker

asked the Minister of Health what priority he proposes to give to the Kidlington and Gosford and Water Eaton drainage scheme, in view of the grave danger to health in this area which has increased in population so much since 1939.

Mr. Bevan

I have approved the scheme but I have not been able to authorise commencement of the work because available labour in the district is fully absorbed by other urgent schemes. It will be given a high priority when labour is available.
