30. Mr. Wilkes

asked the Secretary of State for War when payment of the Army dependant's allowance, claimed by Mr. R. D. Wallace in March, 1947, will be made with all arrears due, regarding which case the hon. Member for Central Newcastle - upon - Tyne wrote to his Department in May, 1947.

As my hon. Friend has been informed, instructions have been issued for the payment of special dependant's allowance in this case as from 5th December, 1946.
