§ Major Beamishasked the Minister of Transport whether he has now given authority for the installation of traffic lights at the main cross-roads in Rottingdean; and by what date it is estimated that these lights will have been installed.
§ Mr. BarnesAn amended layout for the traffic lights at the main cross-roads in Rottingdean is at present being discussed with the highway authority, and I hope shortly to be in a position to approve the installation. I cannot say yet when the signals will be brought into operation, but I will write to the hon. Member about this as soon as more precise information is available.
