§ 79. Mr. Kingasked the Minister of Education what steps are taken when examining candidates for State scholarships to investigate qualities other than those which can be assessed by written examination.
§ Mr. TomlinsonState Scholarships are awarded to boys and girls recommended by the eight approved Examining Bodies on the results of the Higher School Certificate Examination, and, so far as I am aware, no steps of the kind referred to by my hon. Friend are taken.
