HC Deb 17 April 1947 vol 436 c40W
76. Mr. G. Thomas

asked the Minister of Education if he is aware of the conditions under which the Canton secondary school, Cardiff, is having to work; and what steps are being taken to provide proper accommodation for the pupils.

Mr. Tomlinson

The present unsatisfactory conditions at Canton secondary school are due to the partial destruction of the premises by enemy action during the war. Plans for the restoration of the first floor rooms have been approved and certificates for materials in respect of an instalment of the work have recently been issued.
