98. Lieut.-Commander Hutchisonasked the Secretary of State for War what arrangements have been made to issue the ribbon of the war medal 1939–45 to men who have served for the qualifying period but who were discharged from the Army prior to the institution of this medal.
§ Mr. BellengerAt present the ribbon is being issued to serving officers and other ranks but as soon as adequate supplies are available, the ribbon for officers and men no longer serving will be posted to them at their last recorded addresses.
