Mr. Bellenger

There are at present about 1,300 civilians employed by my Department in Colchester. 61 are building workers, comprising 13 carpenters, 6 bricklayers, 10 plumbers, 7 painters and 25 labourers who are all employed on construction and maintenance in camps and barracks in and near Colchester. The remainder are engaged on various duties connected with the Ordnance Depot, camps and barracks.
