§ Mr. BevanThe Central Advisory Water Committee which was appointed under the Water Act, 1945, for the purpose of advising me and other Ministers on questions of water resources and supplies has appointed a Gathering Grounds Sub-Committee, with the following terms of reference
To investigate the question whether the public should be allowed access to gathering grounds owned or controlled by water undertakers, and the extent to which it is desirable that afforestation and agriculture should be permitted on gathering grounds.The members and the organisations with which they are connected are as follow:
